about Tenta Aí
Tenta Aí is a site of games that open right in the browser. No install, no sign-up, no account: you tap the card, the game loads, and that's it. It works on phones, computers and tablets, and every game is free.
the games
Every game here was made for Tenta Aí, with its own code, from the controls to the sound. The art comes from packs by independent artists released under open licenses (CC0, CC-BY, BSD), and the credit for each pack is on the page of the game that uses it. The one game that wasn't born here is Freedoom, a free project under the BSD license, running on the portal's own emulator.
how the site pays for itself
With ads, only on the portal's pages: the home and each game's page, always below the content and never over the play area. There are no ads inside the games, and nothing you do in there is sold to anyone. The details are on the privacy page.
in three languages
The site comes out in Portuguese, English and Spanish. Each language is its own address (tentaai.com, /en/ and /es/), and the switcher in the footer moves between them without losing the page. Portuguese is the original; the others are translations written alongside each game.
who makes it
Tenta Aí is an independent project made in Brazil, with no studio or publisher behind it. New games come in often; the easiest way to know when is to follow Tenta Aí on the networks in the footer of the home page, or just come back now and then.
